One Percent Program at the WA Aboriginal Youth Conference

We were honoured to take part in the WA Aboriginal Youth Conference, a powerful gathering of young leaders, changemakers, and community voices from across Western Australia.

The day was filled with energy, passion, and purpose—from inspiring keynote presentations to hands-on workshops that gave space for youth to speak their truth and share their vision for the future.

A heartfelt thank you to Scott Wilson from Indigiverse for facilitating, and to our fellow presenters from NACCHO Australia, Broome Regional Aboriginal Medical Service, and Uncle Mick Gooda for standing alongside us in this important work.

Being part of this event reminded us why we do what we do: to empower the next generation of Indigenous leaders to walk strong in both worlds, and to create lasting change in our communities—one percent at a time.
